The Date it all started. The day we met. I was out with my two best men Le'ron and Sean. By the end of the night we were outside at another bar looking for Le'Ron. next thing you know I see the most beautiful woman walking past me with the most gorgeous smile. The moment was as if the time stopped. I just grabbed her hand for her attention and she first kept walking but I had to come to her for reassurance that I would love a conversation. Once the conversation started, we had a foundation that only we could understand.

My mom and Dad met Latara on Christmas. My mom and Latara share the same birthday July 9th so they are pretty much the same person. Crazy! We have love and laughter every single time we are together. I couldn't imagine them meeting anyone different who can come into their life with so much love and affection.

On January 8th, 2018 future groom-to-be mentioned that he was in love with the bride-to-be. Husband-to-be wrote out 25 posted notes throughout his apartment with dinner and candles after bride-to-be came back from vacation.

The start of a journey with her right by my side. She has always encouraged me to start my personal chef/catering business and she was stuck in the kitchen helping me build it. I love her! S/O to Mariah Ballard one of the Bridesmaid. She was there from the beginning.

We were in Cabo, Mexico on my 30th birthday. This was the original date and time Erique wanted to propose to me.

I'm thinking again how proud I am of Latara. I was always amazed by her journey and how she had to start from ground zero. I've witnessed her jump hurdle after hurdle to gain success and now another step is completed.

This picture is our last picture before Erique proposed to me. It rained all day and night. However, he still pulled the engagement off with all of our family and friends. We have just left dinner at my favorite restaurant at Soalr in Dayton, OH.

The moment he comes and visits me on my out-of-town work trip. Takes me out for a quick afternoon lunch.
